The Art Department of Imapres is your support team. Our full-service design team can create the perfect designs for you.
Supply only file files in illustrator (AI), EPS or PDF. High resolution JPG or TIFF is also possible, but it usually has a quality loss.
Graphic elements (text, photos, drops shadows, or any elements that are not intended to be bleeding off the sides) should be placed a minimum of 0.5” from finished edges.
All files should be 300Dpi when in the actual size
All fonts must be embedded or converted into contours. This way you avoid that texts are missing or displayed otherwise than provided.
Scanned images must be at least 150 dpi in full size.
We convert all images into CMYK
Files can best be delivered via wetransfer.com (free up to 2GB)
Supply the contour drawing in the actual size separately as one completed line in case of special milling shapes.
The image should always have an incline (bleed)of 5mm. This means that the milled shape will be inside the image with 5mm around it.
Edge Borders: any perimiter border must have a minimum of 0.25” width.
Inset borders: required to be set back a minimum of 0.5” from finished edges
Pantone colours used must be indicated and retained in their original name, otherwise the rip software will not consider them as pantone colours.
Pantone is always a CMYK approximation (they can display up to a 15% deviation).
In order to get the Pantone colours as accurate as possible, we kindly request to stipulate them in the order description.
Office files are not workable files for us and will therefore not be accepted.
